Account Supervisor or Associate Vice President (Public Relations)

About the Role
FINN Partners, the fastest-growing integrated marketing and public relations agency in the United States, is seeking a talented PR professional to join our expanding Nashville office. This is a flexible hire, and we are considering candidates at either the Account Supervisor or Associate Vice President (AVP) level, depending on experience and fit.

The ideal candidate will bring strong agency experience, proven leadership in client management, and a track record of driving outstanding results. You’ll have the opportunity to join a fun team and work with exciting clients across industries—ranging from global automotive powerhouses, retail giants, internationally-known brands, professional services firms, banking and financial institutions, supply chain and logistics leaders, technology companies, and much more. 

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute integrated PR campaigns and programs that exceed client goals.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building and growing strong senior relationships.
• Develop overall communications strategies incorporating earned, owned, and paid tactics.
• Secure consistent media coverage across consumer, corporate, lifestyle, business, and industry-specific outlets.
• Manage day-to-day client account activities, budgets, and timelines, offering proactive problem-solving solutions.
• Lead and mentor internal teams, providing feedback, guidance, and motivation to inspire excellent results.
• Participate in new business development, including networking, RFPs, and presentations.

Qualifications

• 4–7+ years of prior PR agency experience; background in corporate and/or consumer PR strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree required (MBA or post-graduate degree a plus).
• Proven history of leading teams and delivering measurable client results.
• Strong media relations and storytelling skills
• Experience successfully driving external programs-media relations, social media, thought leadership-and/or internal corporate communications programs
• Excellent writing, editing (AP style), and verbal communication skills.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Detail-oriented, organized, hardworking, flexible, thorough.
• Entrepreneurial spirit, collaborative mindset, and a passion for delivering exceptional client service.
