FINN PARTNERS currently has an opening for an Accounts Payable Specialist- based out of our Honolulu Hawaii office. As the Accounts Payable Specialist, s responsible for the day-to-day accounts payable transactions and general office support.

Compensation: The approved salary range for this role is $45,000 – $48,000 annually, dependent on experience and location.

Responsibilities

· Ensures invoices are properly coded to the correct general ledger account code.

· Prepares weekly priority payment list.

· Assists with inquiries from external vendors and internal managers regarding all aspects of the accounts payable process.

· Performs data entry of all Hawaii-related payables including agency expenses, media and production invoices

· Performs other related duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

· Detail-oriented

· Basic understanding of accounting best practices and techniques.

· Excellent organizational and prioritization skills

· Possess excellent written and oral communication skills.

· Ability to maintain confidentiality.


Working Conditions

General office environment. Work is generally conducted at a desk with a personalized computer provided by the company. The working environment is pleasant, with adequate lighting and temperature, and no hazardous or uncomfortable conditions caused by noise, dust, etc.

Job Requirements:

Minimum:

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· One year of experience in an accounting role.

· Strong experience with Excel and Microsoft Office Suite software.

· Attention to detail and ability to multi-task.

Preferred:

· Experience with billing system, NetSuite 

· Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting
