Social Media Coordinator - Hybrid

FINN Partners specializes in public relations strategies and fully integrated creative communications campaigns for clients across a wide variety of industry sectors. For this role, we are focused on finding someone who is experienced and interested in one or more of the following areas: sustainability, real estate, lifestyle, travel, hospitality, and/or food and beverage.
The Social Media Coordinator will be based in our Fort Lauderdale, FL office. This is a hybrid work schedule role, working 1 day in the office, and 4 days remotely each week. Candidates who reside in South Florida will be considered. In-state travel will be required on an as-needed basis.
Responsibilities:
● Social media content creation for multiple client social channels: ideation, copywriting, visual asset creation, etc.
● Social media content calendar management
● Daily social media channel monitoring and community management
● Source User-Generated Content (UGC)
● Execute on-site social media content capture on an as-needed basis
● Video editing (Reels, TikToks)
● Influencer relations, building strong influencer lists and relationships with content creators
● Drafting social media influencer briefs, ensuring quality and alignment with client messaging
● Newsjacking and proactively identifying and drafting timely earned, influencer, and social opportunities tied to cultural trends
● Collaborating with influencers and talent to create impactful content ideas and campaigns
● Client relations, understanding their goals across influencer and social disciplines
● Account and team management support, thinking integrated: PR, influencer, and social ideas working together
● Tracking social media KPIs and metrics reporting
Requirements:
● 1-2 years of social media experience, agency preferred
● Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or public relations
● Previous experience overseeing multiple client accounts or similar job functions
● Excellent social media copywriting and content creation skills
● Outstanding verbal communication skills
● Effective client and team communication
● A proactive mindset; anticipating problems and solutions, a go-getter attitude
● Knowledge of current social media landscape, including staying up to date with major social media news, trends and trending topics
● Driven and motivated to go above and beyond for their teammates and clients day in and day out; a true team player, supportive of collective goals
● Detail-oriented, deadline-oriented, able to work in a fast-paced, growing environment
● Strong project management skills and the ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects
● Strong organizational skills and the agility needed to thrive in fast-paced environments
● Ability to think creatively
● Proficient or a ‘quick study’ with tracking and measurement tools
● Experience with and proficient understanding of various social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.
● Experience with social media tools preferred: Sprout Social, Canva, etc.

Anticipated Salary: $55K to $60K.; salary commensurate with experience and depending upon workplace.
