New Business Associate
The New Business Associate supports agency growth by contributing to the acquisition of new business. This role emphasizes project management, RFP analysis, and the ability to create foundational materials for pitches and proposals. The ideal candidate is highly organized, adaptable, and possesses a broad understanding of marketing strategies and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
New Business Support:
- Research and identify potential clients across various industries.
- Analyze RFPs to extract content requirements, filter opportunities, and create action plans.
- Develop initial frameworks and presentations by pulling from past content or creating tailored solutions.
- Support team members through the pitch process, managing timelines and deliverables to ensure success.
Marketing Collaboration:
- Work with PR and marketing teams to align messaging and go-to-market strategies.
- Assist in creating case studies, website content, social media assets, and other marketing materials.
- Contribute to the planning and execution of marketing campaigns to promote agency visibility.
Process Optimization:
- Manage new business leads and track progress using HubSpot or other CRM tools.
- Suggest and implement process improvements for better efficiency in proposal development and client acquisition efforts.
Early Client Discovery:
- Conduct initial client discovery calls to screen potential leads and clearly communicate opportunities to internal teams.
Project Management:
- Ensure all tasks related to RFP responses and presentations are managed efficiently, meeting deadlines and quality expectations.
- Coordinate with internal teams to deliver materials on time and within scope.
Skills & Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience in a marketing or sales support role.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in HubSpot or a similar CRM tool.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is a plus.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with other CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
- Knowledge of marketing automation tools (e.g., Marketo, Pardot).
- Familiarity with various industries and their unique challenges.
Metrics for Success:
- Contribution to the achievement of new business targets.
- Effective lead management and tracking in HubSpot.
- Successful collaboration with PR and marketing teams.
- Positive client feedback and satisfaction.
Anticipated Salary: $60,000 - $70,000
