As Vice President, Digital & Social Strategy, you are an architect of our digital, social, and influencer future. You will bridge the gap between bold creator culture and rigorous, data-driven strategy to solve complex business challenges for our brands. As a "social-first" authority, you will serve as a high-level counselor to C-suite clients, an early adopter of AI-driven transformation, and a mentor to the next generation of digital pioneers.
You’ll join a high-momentum team, bridging the gap between bold creator-culture partnerships and technical, data-driven rigor to solve complex business problems for a premier client roster. Whether based in Chicago, Detroit, or Minneapolis, you will serve as the definitive "social-first" authority across our hybrid PR, creative, influencer, and paid media teams—acting as a high-level counselor to C-suite clients, an early adopter of AI-driven transformation, and a mentor who empowers the next generation of award-winning digital thinkers and makers.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day digital and social activities and deliverables, including multi-channel content calendars, high-impact creative, creator and influencer plans, and sophisticated paid-social integrations.
- Lead the development of digital ecosystems, moving beyond simple execution to build strategies rooted in social-first insights and business objectives.
- Act as a trusted advisor and primary digital lead for clients, proactively recommending channel architectures and content frameworks.
- Utilize social listening and data mining tools to uncover opportunities and actionable white space for brands.
- Serve as the connective tissue between PR, creative, influencer, and paid media teams to ensure digital strategy makes the entire agency’s work more effective.
- Research, pilot, and apply emerging technologies and AI tools/agents to give clients a competitive edge.
- Oversee account administration duties including resource allocation, monthly billing, and budget forecasting to ensure profitability.
- Mentor junior team members, teaching the "why" behind the strategy and setting a high bar for professional digital fluency.
Requirements:
- 10+ years in a fast-paced agency or corporate experience, with a proven history of scaling digital and social practices
- Proven track record of contributing to high-impact, award-winning digital campaign
- A master at translating intricate market intelligence into sharp, actionable briefs and visionary brand roadmaps
- Deep, hands-on knowledge of platform algorithms, creator economies, and the technical mechanics of the modern web
- A self-starter with the executive presence to lead rooms, the patience to mentor talent, and the organizational discipline to manage high-stakes workstreams and budgets
- Highly proficient in social listening and analytics tools, with an active passion for AI-driven productivity and strategic rigor
- Experience drafting and pitching new business proposals for new and organic client growth
