Account Executive

Finn Partners, recently named Midsized PR Agency of the Year by PR News and The Holmes Report, is seeking an Account Executive (AE) for its growing Los Angeles office that would work across a variety of major consumer brands. Candidates should have a minimum of 2-3 years of agency or in-house experience across both media relations (experience with consumer, and a plus would be experience in luxury, home design, food and beverage, business news, or appliance or builder industry trades) and social media activities (community management, influencer mapping, content creation and digital insights)

 The ideal candidate would possess demonstrable experience across the following areas:

    - Well-seasoned in media relations

  • Strategic/creative thinker that drives media results
  • Proven record with A-list media placements
  • Experience drafting effective, attention-grabbing press releases, media alerts and pitches

 - Experienced with social media

  • Involvement in creating/implementing monthly editorial content calendars
  • Proactively posting, monitoring and responding to comments/customer service inquiries
  • Experience in working with social media influencers
  • Ability to review and interpret results
  • Knowledge of Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, Pinterest
  • Experience with social media monitoring tools
  • An understanding of paid, earned, shared and owned media channels
  • Experience with video and photography editing software

- A Strong writer with experience in both writing for both PR and social

- Detail oriented and ability to own client projects with minimal supervision

- Interested/passionate for working with consumer clients

- Ability to maintain clear and consistent communications between clients, partners and account team

- Possess a “Team Player” work style
