Assistant Account Executive- B2B Tech

Finn Partners' growing New York office seeks a dynamic Assistant Account Executive with excellent writing and media relations skills to join its team to work on industry leading technology clients. This position represents a fantastic growth opportunity for an up-and-coming public relations professional looking to gain valuable communications experience in a wide array of technology industries, while playing a key role on 3-4 accounts. Each account team is structured to promote career development, collaboration from all levels and foster creativity.

AAEs handle content development and day-to-day project coordination for their account teams, ensuring delivery of high-quality work that exceeds clients’ expectations. In addition to developing media materials, press releases, bylines and Q&As, they are tasked with keeping up with the tech industry’s latest trends and developing relevant pitch angles for media outreach campaigns.

AAEs also assist with new business activities, including research, program development and presentations.

Qualifications:

  • To be considered for this position, applicants must have:
  • A bachelor's degree
  • PR agency experience (at least 1-2 years), experience and interest in clients in the B2Btechnology spaceis a must
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Experience working with traditional and social media strategies and campaigns
  • An ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong communications skills both oral and written (including editing skills)
  • A strong attention to detail and be deadline oriented
  • A desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Some experience with media list and briefing material development
