Assistant Account Executive- Health (Pharma)

Finn Partners New York is currently seeking an Assistant Account Executive (AE) to join its growing, collaborative and dynamic Health Practice.  Clients include global leaders in such critically important areas as cardiovascular disease, cancer in pharmaceuticals and medical devices.

Candidates should have demonstrated interest and experience in health care PR, exceptional writing skills, and expertise in program strategy development, client account management, advocacy and media relations.

Primary Responsibilities:

AAEs serve a key role on account teams  handling day-to-day activities of the account team and client projects to ensure delivery of high-quality programs. They devise creative strategies that utilize traditional and digital/social media, help develop client content, including media materials, online content, blog outreach, media pitches, bylines and Q&As, and participate in media and influencer outreach. Overseeing media monitoring and providing analysis provides tremendous insights for our clients and is an important activity.


To be considered for this position, applicants must have:

  • One to Three years of PR agency  Health Practice experience
  • Experience working with traditional , social media strategies and campaigns
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful media relations programs
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong communications skills both oral and written (including editing skills)
  • Experience using all Microsoft Office products
